Share a form's application link

What it is

Once a form is published, it has a public application form candidates fill in. You share its link directly or list it on your public page.

Get the link

A published form has its own public application link. To get it, choose Copy link from the form's ··· menu on the home page, or from the same menu on the form's Responses page - Binary confirms with "Link copied". View form opens the public application in a new tab so you can see exactly what candidates see.

Both are available only once a form is published; drafts have no public link.

Ask the user to re-copy the link from its original source rather than retyping it, and to confirm with whoever shared it that the form is still published. Only escalate as a bug once they confirm the link is exactly right and the page still won't load.

Link previews

When you paste a form's link into Slack, LinkedIn, or another app that shows a link preview, Binary generates that preview image automatically from the form's title and the theme you picked for it (see Change theme in Create a form) - there's nothing to upload or configure yourself.

What candidates see

The public form shows your logo, the form description, the questions, and (when enabled) widgets like location. After submitting they see your success message (see Form settings). If the form is closed, they see "This form is not accepting submissions right now."

Notes & limits

• Sharing requires the form to be published (see Form statuses).
• To show all your live forms in one place, use your public page (see Set up your public page).
• Binary does not provide an embed - there's no way to embed the form in an iframe on your own site. Share the link or use your public page instead.
