The Responses page (reviewing candidates)
The screen where you review a form's candidates - stage tabs, the candidates table, search, filters, AI Review, and opening a candidate.
What it is
The Responses page is where you review everyone who applied to a form. Open it by clicking a published form on the Forms home page.
Find your way around
Stage tabs run across the top - New, Shortlisted and Archived by default, plus any custom stages you add - each showing how many candidates sit in it. Selecting a tab filters the table to that stage, so the table always reflects one stage at a time. Use + on the tab row to configure your stages; see Stages.
Below that, the toolbar carries search, filters, AI Review when AI is enabled, and a ··· menu holding Add Candidate, Import Candidates, and Export CSV.
Work with the table
Each row is one candidate. Alongside their name, email, and the date they applied, you get a column for every question the form asks, plus columns that appear only when they're relevant - an Assignments column once you've sent one, Interviews once feedback exists, Source once candidates arrive from more than one route, and a LinkedIn column when the form asks for a profile URL.
Drag a column's edge to resize it, or its header to reorder it, and click a header to sort. Because column order and width are saved on the form rather than per person, everyone who edits the form sees the arrangement you leave behind. There's no control for hiding a column; which columns appear is decided for you. You can restrict who sees a sensitive column - see Protect a column.
What you can do here
- Open a candidate - click their row for their answers, files, comments, interviews, and messages. See The candidate detail view.
- Move candidates through stages - see Stages.
- Search and filter the list - see Search and filter candidates.
- Act on many at once - tick the row checkboxes and a bulk-actions bar appears. See Bulk actions on candidates.
- Add a candidate by hand - ··· → Add Candidate, useful for someone you sourced yourself.
- Export the current view - ··· → Export CSV. See Export candidates to CSV.
- Label candidates to organise them - see Add and manage labels.
Notes & limits
- The page shows candidates for the current stage tab; switch tabs to see other stages.
- Only people with access to the form can open its Responses page (workspace Admins, plus editors added to the form).
- "Submissions", "candidates", and "applications" all mean the same thing.
