Edit a form
Open the form editor to change a form's title, description, logo, questions, theme, and settings.
What it is
Editing a form opens the form editor - the same screen used to create one - where you can change everything about the role: its logo, title, form description, the questions candidates answer, the theme, and its settings. Edits to a published form update the live form candidates see.
Open the editor
From the Forms home page, click a draft form's row to go straight to its editor. For any form, published or not, open its ··· menu and choose Edit form.
What you can edit
-
Logo - click Add logo to upload one, or replace/remove an existing logo.
-
Title - click the title and type a new role name.
-
Form description - edit the rich-text description: formatting, lists, links, inserted images, and embedded YouTube videos. Type / to open the insert menu. See Create a form for the formatting details.
-
Questions - the heart of the form. You can:
- Add a question - click Add new question and pick a type (Short/Long answer, Number, Multiple choice → List / Dropdown / Multi-select, Phone, LinkedIn profile, Other links, Date, File upload, Video recording).
- Reorder questions by dragging them.
- Edit a question's text and helper description.
- Change a question's type via Edit question type.
- Toggle a question required.
- Add or remove options for choice-type questions.
- Restrict who can see a question's answers (field protection) so only chosen editors see it.
- Delete a question.
Name and Email are default questions - they can't be edited or removed.
-
Form settings - Verify email on submission, Notify about new submissions, Show on public page, and a Custom success message.
-
Theme - Change theme restyles the form candidates see. Desktop only.
-
Preview - see the form as a candidate would.
Your changes save as you make them; there's no Save button. A draft stays private until you choose Publish.
Notes & limits
- Editing a published form changes what candidates see right away - there's no separate "draft of a live form".
- To start/stop accepting applications or close the form, use the publish toggle on the home page or Form settings - see Form statuses.
- Candidate stages are managed on the Responses page, not in the editor.
- To change who can edit the form, manage its editors - see Add members to a form.
