Founding Engineer

Scalio helps businesses grow online and acquire customers using AI. We’re a small, fast-moving team building a consumer-grade AI product used by thousands of businesses.

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer who is strong at shipping products end to end.

This is roughly 75% engineering, 25% product thinking.

What you’ll do

Build and ship core product features across frontend, backend and AI systems
Work on AI agents, orchestration, tool use, workflows and production reliability
Own features from idea → UX → implementation → production
Make product decisions alongside the founders, not just execute tickets
Move quickly, test ideas with users and improve based on real usage
Use AI aggressively to build faster and operate effectively in a small team

You’ll probably be a good fit if

You have 1–2+ years of experience shipping production software
You’ve worked on a consumer-facing app or web product
You have strong product sense and care about UX, speed and simplicity
You’ve built with LLMs, AI agents, orchestration or similar AI systems
You’re comfortable working across the stack
You’ve worked at an early-stage startup or in a small, high-ownership team
