In-person
AI answers now decide a lot of what a buyer sees before they ever visit a website, and brand authority feeds search visibility more than it used to. We are looking for someone who does not need that explained to them anymore, someone who has already been making these calls for a couple of years and is ready to own the strategy, not execute someone else's.
What you'll do
Set content strategy across multiple client accounts rather than work inside a plan someone else built.
Decide what to test, what to kill, and when a plan needs to change direction.
Escalate only the calls that are genuinely high stakes; own the rest.
Mentor one or two junior content strategists or writers through regular, hands-on feedback.
Build and defend content plans that account for both SEO and AI-citation potential.
Represent content strategy in client conversations, including the ones where something didn't work.
What we're looking for
3-5 years in content, with real strategy ownership somewhere in that time, not a title that only implies it.
Writing samples that show range, plus one example of a content plan you built, defended, and changed based on results.
Strong fluency in SEO and in how AI answer engines pull and cite content, enough to make the call on schema, entity clarity, or a citation-focused rewrite yourself.
AI tools built into how you plan, draft, and check work day to day.
Some experience giving feedback or mentoring, even informally.
Nice to have
Direct, hands-on experience with Search Console or a tool like Ahrefs.
Time in a content or growth team where the AI-search shift already forced a strategy change.
Compensation
₹6–9 LPA.
