We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in manual testing to help deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality digital products. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to validate features across web, mobile (Android & iOS), APIs, and backend systems, ensuring every release meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding products end-to-end, takes ownership of quality beyond identifying bugs, and thrives in a fast-paced product environment.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, API, mobile, web, and backend testing.
Validate application behaviour across Android, iOS, mobile web, and desktop platforms.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality is built into every release.
Investigate defects thoroughly, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to drive timely resolution.
Validate APIs, database transactions, and backend workflows to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Participate in sprint planning, grooming, release validation, and production readiness activities.
Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and release quality standards.
Contribute to quality initiatives within CI/CD and Agile development environments.
3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance within product-based or startup environments.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile development practices.
Proven experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies.
Hands-on experience with both black-box and white-box testing techniques.
Strong expertise in API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.) with the ability to write complex SQL queries.
Experience testing web, mobile (Android & iOS), and backend applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern release management practices.
Working knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals, networking concepts, logging, monitoring, and web servers.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues beyond surface-level defects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
