We’re looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor Intern to work on Ramesh’s content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
Our content primarily covers AI tools, emerging technology, business/tech trends, and founder insights. We’re looking for someone who can do more than just cut clips — you should be able to understand the content, identify the story, and use editing to make the message engaging and easy to follow.
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Understand the context and narrative of each video before editing.
Create strong pacing that keeps viewers engaged from the first few seconds.
Use captions, sound effects, music, transitions, zooms, and motion graphics effectively.
Find or create relevant B-roll, screen recordings, AI-generated visuals, and animations to support the story.
Turn complex AI and technology concepts into videos that are simple, visually engaging, and easy to understand.
Experiment with new editing styles, visual formats, and internet trends.
Make creative editing decisions instead of simply following a checklist or set of instructions.
Continuously improve videos based on audience retention, engagement, and performance.
Experience editing English-language short-form content.
Strong understanding of internet culture, social media trends, and creator content.
Good sense of storytelling, pacing, visual hierarchy, and timing.
Ability to understand technical topics such as AI, technology, startups, and business.
Comfortable using tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
Comfortable experimenting with AI-generated images/videos, screen recordings, motion graphics, and creative B-roll.
Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and keep watching.
Most importantly, you should be someone who thinks like a creator, not just an editor.
