We’re hiring a Software Engineer with strong backend and API experience who enjoys the pace and ownership that comes with startup-style work. Build, improve, and maintain backend services and APIs that support core product experiences.
Work across the stack where needed, with a primary focus on server-side architecture, integrations, and performance.
Partner with product, design, and other engineers to turn requirements into clean, reliable systems.
Take ownership of features from planning through release, balancing speed with quality.
Design and implement APIs, services, and supporting data flows.
Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
Debug production issues and help prevent them through testing and better tooling.
Contribute to technical decisions and help keep the codebase simple and well-structured.
Collaborate in a hands-on, fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
Professional software engineering experience at a mid-level or similar scope.
Strong experience building backend systems and APIs used in production.
Comfort working with databases, application architecture, and service integrations.
Ability to write clear, maintainable code and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
Strong communication and a practical, ownership-minded approach to problem solving.
Comfort in a startup-friendly environment with ambiguity, autonomy, and changing needs.
Experience improving performance, reliability, or developer tooling.
Experience working on customer-facing products with meaningful scale or complexity.
Comfort contributing beyond a narrow lane when the team needs it.
