About the Role

We are looking for a Founder’s Office Intern who will work closely with the Head of Engineering and leadership team on high-priority projects across engineering operations, hiring, customer deployments, internal processes, documentation, and execution.

This is not a typical internship where you only manage tasks or take notes. You will work close to the engineering leadership team and help convert ambiguous problems into clear action items, trackers, documents, follow-ups, and execution plans.

You will get exposure to how an early-stage AI startup operates across product, engineering, customers, hiring, and internal systems. The role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, sharp, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You Will Do

As a Founder’s Office Intern at Potpie, you will:

Work directly with the Head of Engineering on engineering, product, hiring, and operational priorities.

Help track key initiatives across engineering, deployments, customer requirements, hiring pipelines, and internal projects.

Create and maintain trackers, dashboards, meeting notes, project documents, and follow-up plans.

Coordinate with engineering, product, customer-facing, and hiring teams to keep work moving.

Support execution on special projects that may involve research, documentation, process improvement, customer context, or internal operations.

Help organize engineering workflows, sprint updates, review notes, release tracking, and team-level execution details.

Assist in creating internal documentation, customer-facing notes, implementation summaries, and operating playbooks.

Support hiring coordination for engineering and technical roles when needed.

Help identify blockers, follow up with owners, and ensure important tasks do not get lost.

Work on research and analysis related to AI, developer tools, enterprise software, competitors, customers, and internal priorities.

Bring structure to fast-moving discussions by turning conversations into clear next steps.

Must-Haves

Available for a 6-month internship.

Able to work in a hybrid setup from our HSR Layout office in Bengaluru.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good comfort with tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Notion, Slack, and project trackers.

Ability to join immediately or as soon as possible.

High ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn quickly.

Comfort working closely with the Head of Engineering in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have

Previous internship or experience in founder’s office, operations, project management, consulting, startups, product operations, or engineering coordination.

Interest or basic understanding of software engineering, AI, SaaS, developer tools, or enterprise technology.

Experience creating documentation, dashboards, reports, trackers, or internal process documents.

Exposure to hiring, customer success, product operations, or technical project coordination.

Ability to research topics quickly and summarize them clearly.

Experience working in student clubs, communities, startup projects, or high-ownership college initiatives.
