About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineering Intern to join our core engineering team and work directly on production applications, not a side project. You'll gain hands-on experience building modern web and mobile applications used by real customers, working closely with our engineering team on UI architecture, component design, application performance, and user experience.

What You'll Work On

Build modern, responsive web applications using React.js
Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components
Implement responsive layouts and pixel-perfect user interfaces from design specifications
Manage application state using modern state management libraries and best practices
Optimize application performance for both web and mobile platforms
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and feature development
Debug production issues and improve application reliability and user experience

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Solid fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Good understanding of React.js and component-based architecture
Familiarity with React Native and cross-platform mobile development
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design principles
Knowledge of REST API integration using Fetch or Axios
Familiarity with Git/version control workflows
Basic understanding of application state management (Context API, Redux, Zustand, or similar)
Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn by building

Bonus

Experience with Next.js or Expo
Familiarity with modern UI libraries such as Material UI, NativeWind, Tailwind CSS, or ShadCN UI
Understanding of mobile app deployment for Android and iOS
Experience with animations using React Native Reanimated, Framer Motion, or similar libraries
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and debugging tools
Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and modern UI/UX principles
Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Detox
Competitive programming background or open-source contributions
