Location: Bengaluru
Type: Full-time Internship
Duration: 3–6 months
Mesa School of Business is India’s entrepreneurship-focused business school, built for ambitious founders and operators. We’re building a high-performance team and are looking for people who are excited to move fast, take ownership, and build things from scratch.
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our People team and get hands-on experience across the entire hiring process.
This is not a role where you’ll just be scheduling interviews. You’ll work closely with the TA and People team to identify talent, engage candidates, run hiring processes, and help us build a strong team at scale.
Own parts of the hiring process from sourcing to offer closure
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other channels
Screen candidates and conduct initial conversations
Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth candidate experience
Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements
Maintain and update the ATS and hiring trackers
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and upcoming roles
Reach out to candidates and drive follow-ups through the hiring process
Support employer branding and hiring campaigns
Track hiring metrics and identify ways to make the process faster and better
Experiment with AI tools and workflows to make recruiting more efficient
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High ownership and ability to get things done without constant supervision
Comfortable speaking to and engaging with people
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Curious, proactive, and willing to learn quickly
Good understanding of LinkedIn and basic recruiting tools
Prior internship, campus leadership, or experience involving people/hiring is a plus, but not mandatory
End-to-end Talent Acquisition
Sourcing and candidate assessment
Stakeholder and hiring manager management
Candidate experience
ATS and recruitment processes
Hiring analytics and metrics
How hiring works inside a fast-growing startup
You’ll be working closely with the People team and will get real ownership from day one. If you’re good at the job, you won’t remain an intern doing repetitive coordination work. You’ll progressively take on more responsibility and own hiring mandates independently.
If you’re excited about people, startups, and building teams, we’d love to hear from you.
