Why this Role exists

TRADL is expanding from a single-product research tool into a multi-surface platform: screening, charting, F&O analytics, alerts, portfolio management, and order execution. Each of these has distinct user workflows, data dependencies, and regulatory considerations.

We need a product manager who understands consumer fintech, can prioritise across these surfaces, and ship features that retain and monetise a growing retail trader user base. This role reports directly to the founders and owns product outcomes across activation, engagement, and revenue.

What You'll Own

Product Roadmap: Define and prioritise the feature roadmap across screening, alerts, backtesting, portfolio, and the upcoming broking module based on user needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
User Activation & Retention: Own the activation funnel from sign-up to first meaningful action. Design onboarding flows, identify drop-off points, and run experiments to improve retention and engagement metrics.
Broking Product: Lead the product build-out for the broking layer - order placement, position management, holdings, margin, and watchlists. Define requirements in coordination with Compliance and Engineering.
Analytics & Experimentation: Define key metrics, track feature adoption, run A/B tests, and use data to inform product decisions.
Feature Execution: Write PRDs, define acceptance criteria, manage sprint priorities with Engineering and Design, and ensure quality through to release.
Growth Inputs: Identify product-led growth levers. Work on referral mechanics, content distribution, and community-driven feedback loops with retail traders.

What We're Looking For

3-7 years of product management experience in consumer fintech, trading platforms, or investment/wealth-tech products.
Direct experience shipping products used by retail investors or traders in India. Understanding of Indian brokerage workflows, market data, and regulatory context (SEBI, NSE/BSE).
Strong analytical skills. Comfort with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent. Ability to define metrics, read funnels, and make data-backed prioritisation calls.
Experience managing full product cycles - PRDs, sprint planning, cross-functional coordination with engineering, design, and business teams.
Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to write detailed specs and present product strategy to founders and stakeholders.
Comfort working in a small, early-stage team with fast iteration cycles and shifting priorities.

Bonus Points

Personal experience with trading or active investing.
Experience with AI/ML-powered consumer products: understanding of how to product-manage around model outputs, confidence levels, and user trust.
Background in growth product management: activation experiments, lifecycle campaigns, referral loops.
