The Bangalore Chess Club is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to feel that BCC is their own and wants to make a mark in the chess world through it.
A key part of this internship is attending all our weekend events, where you'll capture your own content—clips of matches, player reactions, ambience shots, fun moments, event highlights, and anything that brings out the energy of the club and helps strengthen our social media presence. You'll work closely with the team to build engaging visual stories and showcase the spirit of the chess community.
The responsibilities mentioned below are the things we definitely need. Beyond that, you'll have the freedom to experiment with your own ideas, try new formats, and use the BCC platform to create content, build your portfolio, and contribute to growing chess in Bangalore.

Attend every weekend BCC event throughout the month to shoot videos and photos.
Create 3–5 engaging pieces of content per week, including reels, posts, or carousels.
Edit your footage into polished, social-media-ready content that strengthens BCC's online presence.
Keep our social media active with stories and by engaging with followers.
Share creative ideas, trend suggestions, and new formats that we can experiment with.
Keep an eye on analytics and help us understand what performs best.
Capture the personality, stories, and excitement of the chess community through your content.
Stipend: ₹3,000–₹5,000 per month
Performance Bonus: Up to ₹2,000–₹3,000 based on the impact ("alpha") you generate through views, follower growth, engagement, and interactions.
