What We're Looking For

3–5 years building production software, with a track record of shipping features end to end and owning them after they ship.
Solid system design fundamentals. You can break a problem down, weigh the tradeoffs, and defend the choice you made.
Distributed systems experience: services, APIs, event-driven architecture, message queues, caching, failure modes.
Deep in at least one of Go, Python, C++, or Rust, and comfortable moving between them.
Production cloud experience — AWS preferred, containers and orchestration included.
Engineering judgment. You reach for the simple solution first and you know when correctness beats cleverness.

Bonus Points

You've been early at a 0-to-1 startup. You know what it costs and you want to do it again.
You've shipped AI/LLM-powered products to real users — and dealt with the evaluation, latency, and cost problems that come after the demo.
Analytics or data platform experience — pipelines, warehousing, large-scale query workloads.
Fintech, trading, or real-time market data experience.
