We are looking for a talented Video Editor to create compelling, platform-first content across both short-form (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style videos) and long-form (YouTube videos, podcasts, branded content, documentaries) formats. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and platform-specific editing techniques to produce content that drives engagement and business impact.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with creative storytelling, understands digital content consumption patterns, and can adapt editing styles based on platform, audience, and brand objectives.
Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content for multiple brands and campaigns.
Transform raw footage into engaging stories with strong pacing, flow, and visual impact.
Ensure videos align with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and platform best practices.
Perform color correction, audio balancing, subtitle integration, motion graphics, transitions, and visual enhancements.
Create fast-paced, attention-grabbing videos optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other vertical platforms.
Craft compelling hooks within the first few seconds to maximize audience retention.
Apply trend-based editing styles, sound design, transitions, captions, and motion graphics.
Optimize edits for higher engagement, shares, saves, and watch time.
Edit storytelling-driven content including YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, explainers, documentaries, and branded films.
Structure narratives to maximize viewer retention and completion rates.
Collaborate with Creative Strategists and Scriptwriters to maintain storytelling consistency.
Balance pacing, visuals, and audio to create immersive viewing experiences.
Collaborate closely with Creative Strategists, Pod Leads, Designers, Producers, and Account Managers throughout the production process.
Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining creative quality.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Ensure proper organization of project files, assets, and version control.
Analyze content performance metrics to improve future edits.
Continuously refine editing styles based on audience behavior and platform algorithms.
Experiment with new editing techniques, AI tools, templates, and creative formats to improve efficiency and engagement.
Stay updated with emerging editing trends, social media formats, and platform updates.
Maintain consistency in visual quality, storytelling, and brand identity across all deliverables.
Continuously improve editing workflows and productivity.
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
2–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both short-form and long-form content.
Experience working in digital media, creative agencies, production houses, or content-first organizations.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Audition is an advantage.
Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, subtitles, typography, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflow automation.
Strong storytelling and narrative-building abilities.
Excellent understanding of pacing, rhythm, and audience psychology.
Knowledge of platform-specific editing styles and content formats.
Ability to translate creative briefs into visually compelling videos.
