Design Intern

WittyPen is a strategic content marketing company. Since 2015, we've worked with 500+ companies, built a vetted network of 1,800+ writers, and shipped 85,000+ pieces of content. We're a small, high-ownership team. We'd rather ship steady, good work at a sustainable pace than perform busyness, and we're not chasing move fast and break things or fail fast, fail forward as personality traits.
Witty Labs is the part of WittyPen that does branding and design work directly with founders and leadership teams, the kind of project where a logo, a deck, or a landing page has to hold up in a fundraising room. We want an intern who can grow into that work over six months, evaluated on a clear rubric, with a pre-placement track into Witty Labs as the outcome if it's a fit.
What you'll do
Take on real design tasks from week one: social assets, one-pagers, slides inside someone else's deck.
Get hands-on feedback often enough that you're improving fast, not guessing.
Own a full deliverable start to finish by month three or four: a carousel series, a landing page section, or a short video cut.
Use AI design tools as part of your process: first passes, concept iteration, faster production, while catching it when the output is wrong.
Get evaluated against a rubric you see on day one, at month five and six.
What we're looking for
Strong design fundamentals: layout, type, color, hierarchy.
Working UI/UX judgment, from coursework, a bootcamp, or self-driven projects.
Speed and comfort producing graphics, since that's most of the daily work.
Comfort with the AI tools already built into design work today.
A portfolio you can defend, not just show.
Nice to have
Some video or motion editing experience, even rough.
Compensation
₹10,000–25,000 a month, based on portfolio and skill. Six-month internship with a Witty Labs pre-placement track.
