Most internships hand you tickets and tell you to fix bugs. We'll hand you a product that protects real businesses from real threats - and ask you to help build it.
Resilient Privacy is an cybersecurity startup building KANSHI - an AI-powered security operations platform purpose-built for managed service providers. We're small, we move fast, and every line of code you write ships to paying customers. This is not a side-project sandbox. This is the product.
What You'll Actually Do
Build and ship features in our React frontend - real UI, real users, real feedback
Work across the stack with TypeScript on both client and API layers
Integrate animation and interaction patterns that make complex security data feel intuitive
Build responsive layouts that work on every screen our customers use
Participate in code review, PRs, and branch management - real engineering workflow, not toy exercises
Collaborate directly with the founding team and Founding CTO on architecture decisions
What We're Looking For
Confident with TypeScript and JavaScript - you know the difference between the two and why it matters
React experience beyond tutorials; you've built something with components, state, and effects
Some familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, or similar)
CSS fluency - you can center a div and you can build a responsive grid without crying
Git hygiene: you open PRs, write commit messages, and don't push to main
What You'll Walk Away With
Production code in a live cybersecurity SaaS product - on your GitHub, for real
A letter of recommendation from the CEO (for interns who perform)
Direct mentorship from a team with 10+ years across offensive/defensive security and product
First look at a full-time role as we raise and grow
A story worth telling - not 'I shadowed a developer at a Fortune 500'
The Honest Details
Unpaid role — equity-based compensation as a Founding Team Member
You're joining at the ground floor, building the company alongside us, not just working for it
Flexible hours, output over clock-in
Fully remote, optional in-person sessions in Dallas
If you've been waiting for a chance to build something that matters with people who take the work seriously - this is it.
