AI Engineer (Mid-Level) – Product-Focused

Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level AI Engineer (2–3 years experience) who can build and deploy AI/ML solutions end-to-end with a strong product mindset. You will work closely with product, backend, and frontend teams to design, develop, and scale AI-driven features that directly impact business outcomes.

This role requires someone who takes high ownership, can work independently, and is comfortable taking AI solutions from prototype → production → monitoring → iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build ML/AI solutions for real-world product use cases (recommendation, classification, NLP, fraud detection, search, personalization, etc.)

• Develop and optimize training pipelines, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and evaluation frameworks

• Build and deploy production-ready AI services/APIs (REST/gRPC) for inference

• Work with large datasets, implement data validation, and improve model performance over time

• Fine-tune and integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc.) into product workflows

Required Skills

Core AI/ML

• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, bias/variance tradeoff

• Hands-on experience with classification/regression/NLP tasks

• Experience using PyTorch / TensorFlow / Scikit-learn

• Solid understanding of feature engineering and model evaluation
