We are looking for an Employee Benefits Intern to join our People & Culture – Total Rewards team. You will support the administration, coordination, and communication of various employee benefit programs while working closely with employees, benefit vendors, Payroll, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in Employee Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and employee experience.
Support day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including GMC, GPA, EAP, wellness programs, Cult Pass, pharmacy benefits, travel benefits, daycare, salary on demand, and car lease programs.
Coordinate employee queries related to various benefit programs and ensure timely resolution.
Support Group Medical Cover (GMC) enrollment, renewals, additions/deletions, premium data, and employee communications.
Coordinate with brokers, insurance providers, and benefit vendors for renewals, quotations, invoices, and operational activities.
Support employee wellness initiatives, health camps, awareness sessions, and vendor coordination.
Assist with GPA policy renewals, quotations, and invoice processing.
Manage employee eligibility and enrollment data for benefit programs.
Coordinate with vendors, Payroll, Finance, and internal stakeholders for smooth benefit operations.
Support EAP awareness sessions, renewals, employee communications, and usage reviews.
Maintain accurate employee data, trackers, reports, and benefit-related records.
Support POSH training coordination and compliance tracking.
Assist with monthly and quarterly benefit reviews and reporting.
Ensure timely communication of benefit updates and enrollment-related information to employees.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA in HR is preferred but not mandatory.
What We’re Looking For
0–1 year of experience, including internships.
Prior internship/work experience or exposure to Total Rewards, Employee Benefits, HR Operations, or related areas will be preferred.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Comfortable working with MS Excel and trackers.
Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Willingness to learn and take ownership.
Candidates with some prior experience or internship exposure in Total Rewards, Employee Benefits, HR Operations, Payroll, or related HR functions will be preferred.
