We’re building something exciting in the travel tech space and looking for an AI Engineer to join our core engineering team in Bangalore.

Who Are You:

2-8 years of experience, including 1–5 years in an AI/ML engineering or applied research role
Hands-on experience with RAG or vector search systems (FAISS, Pinecone, Elasticsearch)
Experience with model fine-tuning frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI fine-tuning APIs, etc.)
Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java for ML workflows
Strong prompt engineering skills and understanding of LLM capabilities
Ability to own end-to-end AI feature delivery in a fast-paced startup environment

What You’ll Do

Fine-Tune & Deploy Models: Adapt large language models on domain data; manage training pipelines, versioning, and CI/CD for model artifacts.
Prompt Engineering: Craft and optimize prompts—dynamic templates, chaining, few-shot/zero-shot strategies—to drive high-quality output.
Design & Build AI Pipelines: Architect and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, from document ingestion to vector indexing and similarity search.
Develop Embedding Services: Generate, store, and query embeddings at scale using FAISS, Pinecone, or Elasticsearch.
Integrate AI into Backend: Collaborate with the Java/Spring Boot team to embed AI inference services and deploy ML workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless functions.

Nice to Have:

Background in travel-related datasets or consumer-facing recommendation systems
Knowledge of data preprocessing, chunking, and evaluation metrics (ROUGE, BLEU, human-in-loop feedback)
Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases) and automated retraining pipelines
Prior work on real-time inference, caching strategies, or cost optimization on cloud GPUs
