Product Design Intern

Cybersecurity tools have a reputation for being ugly, confusing, and painful to use. You can change that. 

KANSHI is a security operations platform for MSPs - and it needs to be as sharp as the threat intelligence it delivers. We're looking for a designer who thinks in systems, prototypes in Figma like it's a second language, and understands that a beautiful static mock-up means nothing if a developer can't implement it. If that's you, let's build something together. 

What You'll Own 

• Design and prototype real product screens - dashboards, alert flows, onboarding, settings 

• Build and maintain a living design system that maps directly to our React component library 

• Create Figma files developers actually want to open - annotated, organized, production-ready 

• Collaborate with engineers on interaction feasibility and handoff - you'll be in the same room (virtually) 

• Shape the visual identity of a cybersecurity brand that needs to feel both trustworthy and modern 

What You Bring 

• Figma as your primary tool - and prototyping, not just mockups; flows, hover states, transitions 

• Design systems thinking - you see components, variants, and tokens, not one-off screens 

• Handoff literacy - you know what an engineer needs: specs, assets, states, responsive breakpoints 

• An eye for information hierarchy in data-dense interfaces 

• Bonus: you've browsed a React component library before and weren't horrified
