About the role
The job, in one line: turn every PGX episode into 20 things that travel.
A 90-minute conversation has 30 ideas worth pulling out. Most of them die on the cutting room floor because nobody wrote them up. Your job is to make sure they don't.
You'll write across LinkedIn, X, Instagram captions, reel scripts, episode announcements, and quote cards. Sometimes in Prakhar's voice. Sometimes in PGX's voice as a media brand. Sometimes promoting an episode. Switching between these is the actual skill.
You won't be working alone. You'll be in the room with the designer and the editor, shaping how the visual and the copy land together. If you're someone who hands off copy and disappears, this isn't the job.
What you'll do
Write LinkedIn posts, X threads, Instagram captions, and reel scripts. Daily.
Pull the most travelable moments out of every episode and write them up.
Switch between three voices: Prakhar's, PGX's, and episode-specific.
Sit with the designer and editor to make sure copy, visual, and clip work together.
Track what works. Notice what dies. Adjust.
What we're looking for
You write the way people actually talk on the internet, not the way LinkedIn gurus do.
You can shift voice between platforms. A LinkedIn post and an X post should not sound the same.
You watch a lot of social. You know which formats are working right now and which are dead.
You take feedback fast and rewrite without ego.
1 to 3 years writing for social, content, or media. The reflex matters more than the resume.
About PGX
PGX (The Prakhar Gupta Xperience) is a long-form podcast based in Delhi, hosted by Prakhar Gupta. Past guests include Aamir Khan, Arvind Kejriwal, Aravind Srinivas, Vir Das, Piyush Mishra, and Ashish Chanchlani. Top names from every genre. We don't do interviews. We have actual conversations, across two formats: Raw & Real (people who've made it big or lived through something) and PGX Ideas (deep dives with thinkers shaping the future). We're growing fast, and this is the year we go global.
