We are looking for a Site Execution Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of civil works execution at site. The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering construction activities in line with issued drawings, specifications, and timelines.
The engineer will be responsible for executing 3,000–5,000 sq ft of civil works per month, which requires tight control over site productivity, sequencing, and resource deployment. This is a hands-on execution role, where performance is measured by output, quality, and adherence to timelines.
The role requires translating drawings into executed work on site with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include:
Execution Planning & Throughput Control
Break down project scope into daily and weekly work fronts. Sequence activities logically (structure → masonry → services → plaster → finishes) while enabling parallel execution to maintain continuous workflow. Ensure consistent achievement of monthly execution targets.
Labour & Subcontractor Management
Source, onboard, and manage labour and subcontractors across trades such as masonry, shuttering, concreting, plastering, waterproofing, and finishes. Ensure adequate manpower deployment, negotiate rates, and drive productivity on site.
Material Planning & Control
Estimate quantities, plan procurement schedules, and ensure uninterrupted material availability aligned with execution. Track actual consumption against theoretical quantities to control wastage and pilferage.
Technical Execution & Quality Control
Ensure all work is executed as per drawings and specifications. Monitor line, level, plumb, thicknesses, curing practices, and workmanship quality. Conduct stage-wise checks to prevent rework and ensure consistency.
Measurement & Billing
Take accurate site measurements for all executed quantities (masonry, plaster, concrete, etc.)
Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills for clients and subcontractors
Reconcile executed quantities with BOQ and drawings
Ensure timely billing cycles and minimize revenue leakage
Track variations and ensure they are properly documented and billed
Coordination & Issue Resolution
Interface with clients, architects, and consultants to resolve drawing-related ambiguities and site constraints in real time. Ensure execution is not delayed due to pending inputs or decisions.
Cost & Productivity Awareness
Track labour productivity and subcontractor output. Ensure execution stays within cost expectations while maintaining quality and timelines.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily progress tracking (planned vs achieved sq ft), record delays and corrective actions, and provide structured updates to management.
Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering
2–6 years of hands-on site execution experience
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies
Ability to independently manage a construction site
Prior experience in sourcing and handling labour/subcontractors preferred
High ownership, problem-solving ability, and decision-making on site
Willingness to work on-site full-time
Success in this role is outcome-driven. A strong performer will demonstrate:

Stable and reliable labour/subcontractor ecosystem
Minimal rework due to strong stage-wise quality control
Material consumption within acceptable limits of theoretical quantities
Ability to independently run the site and resolve issues proactively
Within 3–6 months, the engineer should be capable of handling execution independently, with predictable output and minimal escalation.
As execution volumes scale, this role will evolve into:
Project Manager – Execution (multi-site responsibility)
Cluster / Regional Execution roles
Operations leadership with ownership of larger and more complex projects
High performers will play a key role in building and scaling execution capabilities across projects and geographies.
This is an execution-first role. It requires comfort with on-ground problem-solving, working with labour, and driving measurable daily progress.
