As an Assistant Manager for a ride-hailing app, you will report directly to the Project Head and manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and seamless transportation services for Captains (drivers). This role involves regular interaction with drivers to understand their challenges and drive solutions for the Auto Rental project.
Own and deliver aggressive revenue and ride targets for the rental project
Understand driver requirements through daily engagement and market research
Manage end-to-end rental operations
Recommend business improvements to increase usage of the Rapido app
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team
Optimize pricing, discounting strategies, and driver incentives through market analysis
Conduct periodic reviews of team performance, metrics, and trends
Collaborate with Central Operations for product/process improvements
Work closely with Product & Tech teams to resolve issues and enhance driver experience
Bachelor’s degree in any field
1–3 years of experience in startup/operations roles
Strong understanding of city dynamics and user behavior
Excellent project and people management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in the local language (spoken & written)
Analytical mindset with strong Excel and data-driven decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines
Passionate, result-oriented, with a strong bias for action
