We are looking for a Supply Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for our client which is a leading startup in agrochemicals. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, inventory planning, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring seamless supply continuity, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards across the procurement lifecycle.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations within manufacturing, chemicals, or B2B startup environments
Proven experience in supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiations
Strong capabilities in vendor evaluation, cost benchmarking, and alternate sourcing strategies
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (PO, GRN, inventory tracking, MIS)
Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
Willingness to travel frequently

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; maintain supplier performance scorecards and develop alternate vendor pipelines
Cost Optimization: Lead pricing negotiations, contract management, and cost control initiatives while ensuring quality and supply continuity
Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle (indent to GRN) across multiple SKUs and locations
Inventory Management: Plan and optimize inventory across locations, ensuring accuracy and efficient stock levels
Quality & Compliance: Monitor material quality, track supplier performance, and ensure regulatory compliance and documentation
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Production, Sales, Finance, QC, and R&D teams; support new product launches and supply readiness
