We’re hiring a junior backend engineer who can build clean, reliable services and grow quickly with real product work. This role is a good fit for someone with strong fundamentals in JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, and the day-to-day tools of software engineering.
Work on backend services, APIs, and internal systems that support product features.
Learn by shipping real code, reviewing feedback, and improving with the team.
Contribute to a codebase where reliability, clarity, and maintainability matter.
Build and maintain backend features using JavaScript and Python.
Design, implement, and improve REST APIs.
Write code that is readable, tested, and easy to maintain.
Debug production and development issues with structured approach.
Work with databases, version control, and common developer tooling.
Good fundamentals in backend development with JavaScript and/or Python.
A clear understanding of how REST APIs are designed and used.
Familiarity with tools such as Git, API testing tools, debugging workflows, and databases.
Evidence of hands-on work through projects, internships, freelance work, or coursework.
Strong problem-solving ability and clear written communication.
Experience with frameworks such as Express, NestJS, Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, deployment, or cloud environments.
Comfort working with SQL and backend data modeling.
