NComputing has spent over two decades helping organizations rethink how they deliver computing. Instead of managing hundreds of traditional PCs, we build virtualisation and endpoint computing solutions that centralize computing, improve security, reduce IT overhead, and extend the life of existing hardware.
Today, our technology is trusted by organizations across the world, including enterprises, educational institutions, healthcare providers, manufacturers, and government organizations. Whether it's enabling secure virtual desktops, modernising endpoint infrastructure, or helping customers adopt complete / hybrid cloud-based workspaces, our focus has always been the same: making enterprise computing simpler, more secure, efficient and easier to manage.
At our India office, we build products and solutions used by customers across India. If you're excited about solving real design problems and shaping how people experience our products, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for a designer who genuinely enjoys crafting good experiences, not just pushing pixels.
This role isn't about picking a trending template or shipping screens without understanding the user or the business behind them. We care about designers who can reason about user flows, information hierarchy, and interaction patterns, and who can defend their decisions with logic, not just taste.
This is a B2B website redesign role. We're not looking for someone who can only make things "look nice", we're looking for someone who understands the psychology of our customer audience: how a B2B buyer thinks, what makes them trust a page, what makes them click a CTA, and what makes them convert into a lead. You should be able to look at a page and explain why a customer would (or wouldn't) act on it, not just how it looks.
We actively encourage the use of AI as a design tool. Use it to explore directions, generate quick variations, or speed up production work. However, the final design decisions, the "why" behind every layout, flow, and interaction, should come from your own understanding of the user and the problem. We are bullish on your ability to explain your design rationale, walk through your process, and defend your choices.
Enjoy solving problems from the user's (and buyer's) point of view first.
Understand customer psychology, what builds trust, what creates urgency, what removes friction, and what makes a B2B decision-maker take action.
Think in flows and systems, not just individual screens, including the psychological journey from landing to conversion.
Can design CTAs, layouts, and copy hierarchy that speak directly to a specific customer group, not generic "best practice" UI.
Care about visual consistency, typography, spacing, and design systems.
Value clarity and persuasion over decoration, a page should be beautiful and it should convert.
Iterate quickly, seek feedback, and continuously improve your work.
Communicate and think clearly, challenge existing designs, and pitch new ideas that improve engagement, conversion, or brand perception.
Figma (must-have) wireframing, prototyping, responsive/web design, design systems, typography, color theory.
UX Fundamentals User research basics, information architecture, user flows, usability heuristics, accessibility basics.
Conversion & Customer Psychology – Understanding of persuasive design principles (trust signals, social proof, urgency, cognitive load, visual hierarchy for decision-making), CTA design and placement, landing page psychology, and how B2B buyers evaluate a page differently from B2C consumers.
Handoff & Collaboration – Ability to prepare clean, developer-ready design files (specs, components, states), and communicate design intent clearly to engineers.
Required/Preferred Experience – Prior experience designing for a B2B company (website, landing pages, or product) is strongly preferred. You should be able to show a project where your design decisions were tied to a business or conversion goal, not just aesthetics.
Working Hours – 9:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday
Role Type – Onsite (remote is not possible for us)
Location – Pune, Maharashtra
Stipend – Rs. 20,000 / month
Duration - 2 months
Start Date – 30th August 2026 to 7th September
Interview Rounds – R1: Portfolio + Design Round (Online), R2: Culture Round.
Put out the design project or portfolio piece that you actually own and understand completely (no template flips), we go in-depth in design interviews and will go through your portfolio thoroughly before we talk to you. It's fine if it's beginner to intermediate level, but you should know the reasoning behind every decision.
Be an excellent communicator. If you can walk a fellow engineer or designer through your thought process simply and clearly, that's a default at NComputing, it tells us you can think and explain design decisions, not just make things look nice.
Show your process. Wireframes, user flow sketches, mood boards, or notes on why you made certain decisions are a big bonus, this tells us you can think in systems and plan well as a designer. We believe taking a design from 0-1 is trickier than polishing it from 1-100, which is why we value that.
Show us you understand why a customer converts. If your portfolio includes a project where you can explain the psychology behind a CTA, layout, or flow decision and ideally tie it to a real or estimated outcome (clicks, signups, engagement) that's an instant standout.
B2B experience is a strong plus. If you've designed for a B2B audience before, tell us how that differed from designing for consumers.
We are willing to score you academically and help out with college, assuming you can be full-time at our Baner Office in Pune from Monday to Saturday. This is not a part-time internship. So apply only if you can commit.
