We are looking for a Junior Production Accountant to manage and maintain financial records related to production shoots, track day-to-day expenses, maintain bills and supporting documents, and submit accurate shoot accounts on time.
OWLED is a creative agency working across film and video production, digital content, social media, influencer marketing, AR, design, and owned media.We work with brands across categories and have built our own distribution ecosystem, generating 500M+ views every month. Our work spans high-volume content production, large-scale brand campaigns, social retainers, influencer-led campaigns, and owned IPs.
This is a full-time role in the Accounts / Production team, reporting to the Senior Accountant.
You will work across both production locations and the office, helping ensure every shoot expense is properly recorded, supported, and reconciled.
We’re looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience who is organised, dependable, and comfortable handling documentation, cash, and follow-ups.
Attend production shoots and manage accounting-related activities on location.
Maintain complete records of shoot expenses, bills, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
Handle and track production advances, petty cash, vendor payments, and other shoot-related expenses.
Maintain shoot-wise expense sheets and reconcile advances against actual spends.
Identify and follow up on missing bills or supporting documents before submission.
Submit complete shoot accounts, bills, and expense statements to the Senior Accountant within required timelines.
Coordinate with the production team and support day-to-day accounting and reconciliation work when required.
Maintain organised physical and digital records of production expenses.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is an advantage.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and invoice requirements is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and comfort working independently.
Ability to coordinate with production teams, vendors, freelancers, and crew members.
Must be willing to attend shoots at different locations.
Should be comfortable with flexible working hours depending on shoot schedules.
Local travel for shoots may be required.
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Organised, responsible, and good with numbers.
Comfortable working in the dynamic environment of a production shoot.
Takes ownership of ensuring every production expense is properly recorded, supported, and handed over without missing documentation.
