About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Visual & Digital Designer to lead the creation of high-quality
visual assets across print, digital, and social platforms. This role requires a self-driven
designer who can translate academic, marketing, and institutional requirements into
clear, engaging, and brand-consistent designs with minimal direction.
The ideal candidate will bring strong design fundamentals, hands-on expertise with
modern tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced education
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Execution
• Design and produce marketing and academic collaterals including flyers, brochures,
handbooks, prospectuses, and institutional documents.
• Create website designs, landing pages, and digital layouts aligned with school
branding and admissions objectives.
• Design responsive email templates for admissions, student communications, and
marketing campaigns.
• Create social media post designs for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook,
LinkedIn, and YouTube, aligned with brand and campaign goals.
• Translate high-level briefs into polished, production-ready designs with minimal
supervision.
• Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints while evolving the brand as needed.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Design Principles & Standards
• Apply strong fundamentals of typography, spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy.
• Use color theory, contrast, and layout balance to ensure clarity, accessibility, and
readability.
• Design with intent, ensuring every visual element serves a functional and
communication purpose.
• Create scalable, reusable design systems for digital and social assets.
• Produce responsive designs suitable for print, web, mobile, and social platforms.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality across all outputs.
Collaboration & Delivery Support
• Work closely with marketing, admissions, academic, and leadership teams to
understand objectives and timelines.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining design integrity and standards.
• Prepare final assets for print, web, email, and social deployment, ensuring accuracy
and brand compliance.
• Coordinate with developers, content teams, or external vendors for website, email,
and social design handoffs.
Tools & Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Figma (primary), Adobe XD
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign)
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma or InVision
• Familiarity with social media design formats, safe areas, and platform guidelines
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for web and email collaboration
• Experience working with CMS-based websites and digital publishing workflows
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Jira, Notion, Confluence, or similar
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in graphic and digital design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print, web, landing page, email, and social media
design work.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal briefs or direction.
• Strong understanding of design principles and visual communication.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
