▸ Counsel distressed borrowers through guided conversations
▸ understand and evaluate empathetic conversation strategies
▸ Training provided in financial literacy
▸ ₹10,000 stipend
▸ 1 month contract - extendable based on performance

Looking for: BA/BSc Psychology (final year or completed), multilingual (fluent english and hindi mandatory), prior counselling/workshop experience preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO
▸ Conduct empathetic conversations with distressed borrowers over phone and WhatsApp
▸ De-escalate emotionally charged situations — listen first, advise second
▸ Educate borrowers on their options: settlement, foreclosure, repayment plans, CIBIL impact
▸ Help borrowers make informed decisions without coercion or pressure
▸ Identify emotional barriers to repayment — shame, avoidance, confusion, distrust
▸ Document conversation patterns and emotional cues for research analysis
▸ Adapt communication style per borrower — language, tone, pace, framing

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education & Experience
Bachelor's in Psychology (completed or final year). Counselling/behavioural science coursework is a plus
▸ Prior counselling workshops, peer counselling, helpline volunteering, or community outreach experience
▸ Exposure to people from diverse backgrounds, especially Tier 2–3 cities
▸ Multilingual — Hindi + English required; regional languages are a significant plus

Genuinely curious about people — you find human behaviour fascinating, not draining
▸ Comfortable with difficult conversations — distress, shame, anger, silence
▸ Eager to learn new domains — you'll be trained in financial products and resolution strategies
▸ Non-judgmental — people in debt aren't irresponsible, they're often unlucky or uninformed
▸ Open to feedback, rapid iteration, and working with new tools and systems
