Bluemart is an early-stage commerce startup building fast, reliable buying experiences for everyday shoppers. We're hiring a Backend Engineer to own services that power our catalog, cart, and order flows.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that handle real traffic.
- Model data for catalog, cart, checkout, and order fulfilment.
- Work with queues, caching, and background jobs to keep things fast.
- Debug production issues and improve reliability and latency.
What we're looking for
- 2-6 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one of Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Production experience with relational databases and API design.
- Clear communication and a practical, ship-it mindset.
