Role Overview:
This role owns Earthful's social video from idea to final cut. You'll wear two hats — Director of Photography and Video Editor — taking 10+ videos a month and product content from concept and storyboard, through shoot planning and filming, to a finished, on-brand edit. You'll work closely with the social media and creative teams to make sure every video is thoughtfully shot, creatively catchy, and consistent with the brand's look and feel.

What You'll Own:
Pre-Production & Direction
Turn briefs and scripts into storyboards, shot lists, and shot division that make each video creatively catchy
Plan the shoot end to end — location, props, framing, and schedule — and coordinate with creators on background, costume, and voice-over so footage comes in usable
Bring fresh creative thinking to every concept so the video stands out on the feed
Cinematography (DoP)
Shoot as Director of Photography — own camera, framing, lighting, and composition on set
Capture footage that already reflects the intended tone and mood, reducing fixes in post
Editing & Post-Production
Edit the full video from raw footage to final cut across reels and video.
Own sound design, mixing, and color grading to a polished, on-brand finish
Layer in motion graphics and animation where they lift the video
What We're Looking For:
Strong hands-on experience as both a Director of Photography and a video editor — comfortable shooting and cutting storytelling and product content
Skilled at storyboarding, shot division, and shoot planning, with the creative thinking to make each video creatively catchy
Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
Strong in sound design & mixing and color grading; motion graphics & animation a plus
A strong sense of visual tone and mood — pacing, color, rhythm, and overall look — and the judgment to keep it consistent with the brand's aesthetic across every video
An eye for what makes a hook work in the first few seconds — you can tell a weak cut from a strong one
Proficiency with AI video tools (e.g. Claude Design, Higgsfield, Seedance, Runway) is a strong add-on, not a requirement
Based in or willing to work in-office in Mumbai
