What is HelpChess?

HelpChess is a non-profit organisation setup by ChessBase India for the growth of chess players of the country. We've raised over INR 1 crore in funds in recent years and helped dozens of chess players in pursuing their dreams. More details at helpchess.org

What kind of scholarship does HelpChess provide?

We don't have a fixed scholarship structure and take decisions on a case-by-case basis. In the past, we have helped chess players with either partial or full reimbursements for laptops, softwares, books, coaching and travel.

How do I apply and when will I hear back?
