You’ll be joining early, working directly with the founders, and shaping the product that will define the future of fashion AI.

Role Overview

As our Fashion Intern, you will be the human eye and taste-level behind our AI. You will validate the trends the product detects, cross-check runway → influencer → marketplace flows, classify emerging aesthetics, and help ensure our platform reflects real cultural movement — not algorithmic hallucinations.

This role blends fashion trend research, product testing, and editorial judgement. You will directly influence how the world’s first full-stack trend prediction engine is built.

What You’ll Do

Trend Validation & Research

Review and validate trends produced by our platform (micro, macro, and uber trends).
Identify mislabeled or weak signals and provide corrective feedback.
Track runway → influencer → marketplace diffusion patterns in the US market.
Analyze lookbooks, runway shows, creator content, and marketplace listings to verify emerging themes.
Highlight gaps, unrecognized micro-trends, and false positives.

Product & UX Feedback

Test new feature releases and provide detailed, structured feedback.
Evaluate trend cards, image clusters, insights, and metadata accuracy.
Suggest improvements to categorization, taxonomy, and naming.
Help define what the ideal fashion intelligence and design interface should look and feel like.
Help define what is needed to build a Figma for Fashion Designers

Domain Expertise Contribution

Maintain an internal trend map for reference (silhouettes, color families, fabric directions, aesthetics).
Bring in your intuition and cultural awareness to shape the product’s intelligence layer.
Assist with runway metadata mapping (designer, season, collection theme).

Editorial & Insight Work

Draft short trend descriptions or explainers used internally or in product modules.
Help differentiate between “noise vs. signal” when evaluating trend bursts.

Who You Are

You’re based in the US and deeply plugged into the fashion landscape (NYFW, street style, TikTok, subcultures, aesthetics).
You have strong knowledge of silhouettes, fabrics, construction, and visual languages — but also how they travel through culture.
You understand that trends don’t live in isolation — they're shaped by creators, marketplaces, brand strategies, and consumer sentiment.
You are highly visual and detail-oriented.
You care about accuracy and taste.
You’re curious about AI-powered tools and excited about shaping a platform from scratch.
You can commit ~10–15 hours/week with rapid async communication.

Bonus (Not Required)

Experience in fashion school, styling, fashion media, or brand marketing.
Worked on moodboards, runway reviews, or forecasting projects.
Familiarity with digital tools (Pinterest, TikTok analysis, basic Figma, CLIP-based tagging, or research workflows).
Interest in predictive modeling, data storytelling, or tech.
