About the Role
At Oolka, we process lakhs of rupees in bill payments every day. As a Payments & Finance Operations Intern, you’ll help ensure seamless transactions, resolve payment failures, drive recovery campaigns, and improve operational efficiency while building the future of fintech.
Roles and Responsibilities
Own payment operations: Monitor daily bill payment transactions, investigate failed or stuck payments, and coordinate retries, refunds, and resolutions.
Drive payment recovery: Execute recovery campaigns for users with unsuccessful transactions through push notifications and WhatsApp nudges, helping recover payments and improve transaction success rates.
Resolve customer escalations: Take ownership of payment-related issues from identification to resolution, ensuring timely updates and a smooth customer experience.
Keep transactions on track: Reconcile transaction records, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with internal teams and payment partners to resolve issues.
Track what matters: Monitor payment success rates, failure trends, refund turnaround times, and recovery metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Improve operational efficiency: Identify recurring payment issues, streamline processes, and contribute to building scalable workflows as Oolka grows.
