Founding Product Designer

Welcome to Ethereal Labs.

We’re building next-generation consumer products from India, and we’re hiring a Founding Product Designer to help shape a new 0→1 product from the earliest stage.

This is a full-time role for someone who can think beyond clean UI screens. We’re looking for a designer with strong product taste, mobile-first thinking, fast execution, and the ability to turn ambiguous ideas into simple, sharp, and high-quality user experiences.

You’ll work closely with the founding team across product flows, interaction design, visual language, onboarding, retention loops, monetization moments, design systems, and early product experiments.

We’re intentionally keeping detailed product context limited at this stage. More will be shared with shortlisted candidates during the interview process.

Interview Process

1. Portfolio Review

2. Live Whiteboard Session — 60 to 90 minutes, focused on a consumer product user-flow problem

3. Optional Short Take-Home — only for finalists
