About Supermemory

Supermemory started off in 2023 as a simple open-source tool to manage and search through bookmarks, and was awarded as one of the fastest growing OSS repositories in 2024.

Today, Supermemory is the leading context and memory engine in the world, serving tens of thousands of customers who love using the product.

Context is the next big frontier for AI agents. This includes Memory (Personalization) and RAG, and supermemory brings them all in one tool. We think pushing the frontier on AI includes improving the experiences that we have with them every single day, which boils down to how context is provided to LLMs.

Every AI solution needs memory, and supermemory is growing among enterprises as the default memory provider. Supermemory has processed 4 billion+ tokens of context in the first few months of operations, and has been featured on Techcrunch and many other media channels, with leading companies using supermemory as their context solution.

We are an extremely small and lean team of young engineers, researchers and designers from all around the world, now working in-person in the heart of San Francisco, California, trying to contribute to AGI with memory.

Open Roles

Founding Backend / Infrastructure Engineers

Building scalable and reliable systems that thousands of developers and millions of users depend on. If you have previously been in a fast growing and scaling team, please mention below.

Founding Research Engineers

Researching, implementing, experimenting and proving multiple hypotheses, with a general sense of systems design, scalability and databases. If you have previously published a paper, please mention below.

What We're Looking For

Above all, a simple true visible passion for technology.

• People who like to build in their free time. Learning as much as possible every day. Used different types of technologies, and have a good breadth and depth of knowledge across domains.

• Should be "obviously fun to work with". Great communicator, good at writing, action taker, and interest in extracurricular activities (they make people fun!)
  

Our tech stack:

These roles are a good starting point but we prefer not boxing you in only specific responsibilities. You can assume that your role will evolve based on your excitement, capabilities and Supermemory's open problems.

What We DON'T Look For

• You do not have to be from a notable (Ivy league) college.

• We don't have age restrictions (beyond legal ones!). You can be extremely young, old, or anywhere in between.
  

Compensation

We pay competitive salaries globally based on experience and impact:

Entry to Mid-level: $20,000 - $120,000
Senior level: $120,000 - $250,000

+ Equity vested in the company (worth $200k+, growing)

Compensation is adjusted for cost of living and local market rates while remaining highly competitive in each region.
