We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to handle a dual role combining Hardware Asset Management and Hardware Engineering. This role involves managing the complete hardware lifecycle while also providing hands-on technical support across IT infrastructure.
Hardware Asset Management
Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware across locations
Manage end-to-end lifecycle: procurement → deployment → maintenance → disposal
Define and enforce asset tagging, tracking, and audit processes
Ensure compliance with internal policies, warranties, and licensing
Collaborate with procurement & finance for vendor management and budgeting
Generate reports on utilization, depreciation, and forecasting
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for servicing and repairs
Manage hardware-related onboarding & offboarding
Hardware Engineering
Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, servers, network & AV equipment
Advanced troubleshooting in Mac and Windows environments
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and configurations
Support hardware rollouts, OS imaging, and device setup
Evaluate and recommend hardware improvements
Provide L2/L3 support for escalated issues
Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT / Electronics or related field
3–5 years of experience in hardware engineering or asset management
Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle & inventory management
Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing systems
Experience with tools like Freshservice, Excel, or Google Sheets
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac
Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
Knowledge of hardware insurance claims process
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Basic understanding of SSO/MDM tools (e.g., Okta, JumpCloud, ManageEngine)
Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL, CHAMP
Experience with imaging tools (SCCM, MDT)
Exposure to hardware-related security practices
Strong organizational and communication skills
