He was offered the Chair of Eastern Philosophy at Harvard. But he chose to remain a wandering monk. He died at 39 and he enjoyed his hookah.
120 years later, he still inspires hundreds of missions across the world.
And yet a book about him will feel like a eulogy and be boring.
