Every swipe is a play
We're building a participation-first platform where every swipe is a play. Puzzles, quizzes, brain teasers for different interests (from Bollywood to Cricket to Mythology). We think this is what the next generation of engagement looks like. Fast, fun and guilt-free in the way that it feels it is curated just for you.
An early-stage opportunity with meaningful ownership and impact. The role offers significant scope to shape the product, team, and company from an early stage.
This is an in-person role based in Bangalore.
Own problems end to end. Take a fuzzy problem like “new users drop off here”, "how to create anticipation in this loop", "how to make this puzzle more memorable?"; frame it, explore directions, and carry it through to deliverables and post-launch learnings.
Go wide before going deep. Research and sketch several directions, prototype the promising ones, and put them in front of real users before committing to high fidelity.
Prototype interactions, not just screens. A lot of our design lives in motion, timing, and feedback, so you’ll build prototypes that show how something feels, not just how it looks.
Design with data in the room. Work alongside product on experiments: define what success looks like, read retention and funnel data, and let the results shape the next iteration.
Talk to players. Run quick, scrappy research sessions, watch people play, and turn what you see into design decisions.
Build the system as you go. Create and evolve components, patterns and guidelines so the team can ship new experiences quickly without the product fragmenting.
Work closely with engineering. Collaborate on feasibility early, hand off cleanly, and review builds until the details are right.
Design beyond the app. Create app store visuals, social assets and campaign creatives that carry the same craft as the product.
1-4 years of design experience, with shipped work you can walk us through, including the process and not just the final screens.
Strong visual sense. You have a sharp eye for colour, typography, composition and hierarchy, and your work has a point of view.
Illustration experience. You can create original illustrations and visual assets, and your portfolio shows it. Range across styles is a plus.
Strong visual and interaction craft. You have a feel for motion, hierarchy, feedback, and polish.
The ability to simplify. You can take something complex and make it feel obvious.
Product thinking. You start from user behaviour and goals, and you’re comfortable changing your mind when the data says so.
Speed without sloppiness. You know when a sketch is enough and when the detail matters.
Comfort with ambiguity. Small team, short loops, half-formed problems.
Bonus: experience with games, social products or habit-forming consumer apps, or a daily puzzle/game habit and opinions about what makes one great.
