Church Street, Bangalore | Monday to Friday WFO
3one4 Capital is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Visual Communication Design Intern to join our team. You'll work closely with the design team across social, editorial, print, and event formats, gaining hands-on experience in how a venture capital brand communicates visually.
✍️ Key Responsibilities
Design visual assets for fund announcements, portfolio news, ecosystem commentary, and team moments across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
Translate long-form written content and data into visual formats that are easy to scan and understand. This includes designing infographics that simplify complex ecosystem trends, market data, or research findings, requiring strong information design instincts and a clear sense of visual hierarchy.
Design collaterals for the fund, including decks, one-pagers, campaign creatives, etc. along with building and maintaining a library of reusable templates, layout systems, grids, and visual guidelines.
Support the design of research reports and print materials, with careful attention to layout structure, grid systems, typographic hierarchy, and pagination.
Contribute to the visual identity of 3one4 events, from invites and signage to on-ground branding and marketing creatives. You'll learn how a single visual language extends across formats - digital, print, and physical space.
🌟 Who You Are
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with the technical fluency to execute clean, production-ready files.
A designer with a strong foundation in layout design, typography, and visual hierarchy - you understand how to guide a reader's eye through a page or a post with intention.
Comfortable working with information design, turning data, numbers, and dense content into visuals that are legible and considered.
Strong composition skills - an eye for balance, spacing, alignment, and proportion across formats, from a square Instagram post to a multi-page report.
A sharp eye for detail - you catch inconsistencies in spacing, alignment, and type before anyone else does, and you care about getting the small things right.
Genuinely curious about startups, venture capital, and the Indian tech ecosystem, you don't need to be an expert, but you should want to understand the space you're designing for.
Someone who studies design in the world around them, you notice what works in a layout, a poster, a feed, or a report, and you can articulate why.
🎳 Bonus if You Have
Working knowledge of Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, or web/social templates.
Familiarity with tools like Canva or Notion for quick-turnaround or cross-functional collaboration.
Basic video editing skills - simple cuts, captions, or motion for social formats.
Prior exposure to marketing or brand work, in a startup, agency, or in-house design team.
