The role:
You'll help our founders, Ajinkya Kulkarni and Anshul Gupta, become go-to voices on Indian money and markets. We want investors, founders and finance folks reading them to make sense of rates, inflation and the RBI, and to see why bonds matter more than most people think.
Their posts will cover three things:
Macro and markets. Simplifying interest rates, inflation, RBI policy, global moves, and what they mean for India.
Fixed income - the bond market, banking and lending sector
Building Wint. What the founders learnt from building a fintech in a regulated market.
We want quality conversations and not virality. Every post should be clear enough for a smart 25-year-old and insightful enough for a fund manager. We'll track engagement, but one repost from the right investor beats a thousand likes.
Your focus is the founders' accounts, not the Wint brand account. Customer complaints in their replies go to our CX team.
You'll report to the Brand Head and work directly with the founders. First, they'll review every draft. As you get their voice right, the review loop keeps getting shorter.
What you'll do
Write posts, threads and carousels for the founders on X and LinkedIn, in their voice.
Come up with content ideas for the accounts. Feel free to use quick chats, voice notes and things they said in a meeting.
React fast when news breaks (RBI policy, Budget day, a Fed decision, a big move in bond yields, some topic trends) with a take worth reading, and plan ahead for important days.
Back up your posts with data, figures and charts
Reply and engage with comments, other posts, etc. The goal is insightful conversations and not virality.
Track who engages, not just how many, and do more of what works.
Follow SEBI guidelines for the post: we can’t promise returns, no misleading claims, and a clear line between market commentary and investment advice.
You might be a fit if:
You have 0–2 years of writing experience: for a brand, a founder, a creator, a publication or your own account. It all counts.
You read about markets for fun, and you already follow the people who talk about them on X and LinkedIn. You don't need a finance degree. We'll teach you bonds.
You can simplify a complex idea and create a post from a headline
You can learn, think and write, in that order.
You check your facts and own up to your mistakes. Wrong numbers mean a misleading post that loses trust.
Bonus points
You've written for someone else before
You have your own X or LinkedIn account with posts you're proud of, ideally about money, markets or business. Follower count doesn't matter.
You can turn numbers into a chart or a quick carousel in Canva, Figma or Datawrapper.
You have studied economics, finance or business, or written about them.
What you get:
Direct access to the founders, and a close view of how a fintech gets built.
Your writing in front of 1 lakh+ followers, including investors & founders shaping Indian fintech.
A crash course in macro, markets and fixed income, from people who work in them every day.
