Thumbnail Designer - Kontent Media

At Kontent Media, we're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Full-Time Thumbnail Designer to join our growing team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of YouTube thumbnail design, visual storytelling, typography, composition, and photo manipulation, with a keen understanding of what makes a thumbnail visually appealing and clickable.

As a Thumbnail Designer, you'll create high-impact, scroll-stopping thumbnails for global brands, creators, and content across FinTech, Crypto, Real Estate, Podcasts, and Personal Branding. You'll work closely with video editors and the content team to understand the story, identify the key hook, and turn it into a thumbnail that grabs attention. From brainstorming concepts to designing multiple creative variations, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse content, experiment with new ideas, and grow alongside a passionate, fast-paced creative team.

Responsibilities:

Design eye-catching, click-worthy thumbnails for YouTube and short-form video content
Understand content context and translate it into strong visual hooks
Work closely with editors, scriptwriters, and content team
Maintain brand consistency across all thumbnails
Experiment with layouts, colours, fonts, and visual trends to improve CTR
Deliver designs within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience as a Thumbnail Designer (YouTube / digital content preferred)
Experience working with video editing or content production teams
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and audience psychology
Proficiency in Photoshop / Canva / similar design tools
Knowledge of YouTube trends, thumbnail styles, and best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects and quick turnarounds
Familiarity with creator or brand-led content
