This is the assessment everyone at this point does before we get on a final call. There is no time limit, though most people spend about an hour to an hour and a half on it. There is no right answer. I'm looking at how you think, how you approach an open ended problem, and how you communicate.
Context:
Advertisers (insurance companies) pay third party media buyers to run
social media ads. Media buyers or affiliates receive approved creative
copy from the advertiser and build ad videos and images to promote on
Meta. When a user clicks on the ad, they are redirected to the advertiser
website, at which point the advertiser pays the media buyer.
Problem:
Affiliates sometimes run unapproved copy or false claims to incentivize
users to click on their ad. Advertisers want to prevent this to protect
their brand.
Task:
How would you solve this problem for the advertiser? Assume ClickLyft is
pitching this solution to an advertiser.
Produce whatever output you think best communicates your thinking. That
could be a written proposal, a product spec, a process diagram, a client
facing document, a slide deck, a PDF, or a screen share showing live
examples of how this would work online. No format is better than another.
What you choose and why is part of the answer.
Here is what to submit below:
1. Your solution, in whatever format you picked. Upload a file if it is a
PDF or deck under 10 MB, or paste a link for anything larger or hosted,
like Google Slides, Figma, a Google Doc, or a live demo.
2. A video, three to five minutes, where you walk us through your thinking
and why you made the choices you did. Record it however you want, including
sharing your screen. Put it on Loom, Google Drive, or YouTube as unlisted,
and paste the link. Please do not attach the video as a file, it will be
too large.
Take your time, and message me if anything is unclear.
