Research Fellowship

Lossfunk, a new AI research lab in Bangalore, is hiring fellows for a duration of 1 year.

This is best suited for pre-doc and post-doc positions, or those who want to transition into full-time research.

Fellowship details:

Location: on-site in Bangalore

Eligibility: already graduated from college

Duration: up to 1 year (6 months first phase + 6 months extension, based on performance and mutual-fit)

Compensation: Rs 1.25 lakhs/mo

Access to our private community comprising other AI researchers and builders
Compute / credits for your research
Primary authorship on your research papers, along with guidance/feedback on your drafts
Reimbursements (travel, stay, attendance) to present your work at conferences (top conferences only, not workshops)
Occasional 1-1s with other researchers for feedback and discussion (depending on their availability)
An opportunity to collaborate with other research projects and get co-authorship (depending on your contribution)
Exposure to your work on socials (@lossfunk ~15k followers)

High ownership for your projects
Daily updates on your research progress / learnings / interim results in the community
Lossfunk branding on your research preprints and mentions of lossfunk on your tweets/social posts about the research
Release models/code as open source on Lossfunk's GitHub or Hugging Face
Mentions of affiliation with Lossfunk as a researcher on papers / preprints + socials (optional, but encouraged)
