Summary:
We are looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in software testing and QA. The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional, regression, sanity, usability, and integration testing across web and mobile applications (Android/iOS). Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman/Swagger and experience in hardware testing are preferred. Strong knowledge of Java and automation testing is required. The ideal candidate should have good analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and product quality. Candidates should hold a B.Tech/B.E./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review software requirements and prepare test requirements.
Create and execute test cases covering functional and usability aspects.
Analyze test results, including database impacts, errors, defects, and usability issues.
Prepare test reports and communicate testing status and observations to stakeholders.
Participate in design and requirement reviews and provide input on potential product issues.
Perform testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS, including device and browser compatibility testing.
Perform web application and hardware testing as required.
Participate in preparing test plans, test cases, test data, and defect reports.
Execute Sanity, Functional, Usability, Integration, and Regression testing.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman/Swagger.
Verify bug fixes and perform appropriate regression testing.
Contribute to maintaining QA documentation and testing processes.
Hands-on experience with automation testing and Java programming.
Requirements:
6 months to 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and test design techniques.
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, sanity, usability, and integration testing.
Basic knowledge of API testing.
Exposure to mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
Good understanding of defect reporting and the bug life cycle.
Strong knowledge of Java and automation testing.
