Opmaint is a mobile-first CMMS built for manufacturing, warehousing, and facilities teams — the people who keep factories running, warehouses moving, and buildings functioning. 95% of teams agree Opmaint improves task planning and execution. We take an industry most people never think about and build software that its frontline teams actually love using.
Writing is the backbone of how we grow. Before the demo, the sales call, the product tour — there's a piece of content. A blog post a maintenance manager found at 6 AM before a shift. A LinkedIn post that made a plant head stop scrolling. A story that made someone realize their spreadsheet-and-WhatsApp chaos doesn't have to be permanent. That content has to do an absurd amount of heavy lifting: it needs to teach them something new, speak their language, earn their trust, and leave them feeling like we understand their world better than anyone else. That's the job. If that excites you, keep reading.
What We're Looking For
Non-Negotiables:
You understand narrative structure — even a blog about preventive maintenance should have a hook, tension, and payoff
You can simplify complex topics without dumbing them down
You have strong opinions and a distinct voice
You're a relentless researcher — you'll go deep into how factories, warehouses, and facilities actually operate
You write to be read, not to fill a content calendar
Would Love to See:
Experience writing for B2B SaaS, LinkedIn, long-form blogs, or industry publications
A genuine obsession with how things work — why industries run the way they do, what breaks on a factory floor, what's really going on beneath the surface of "boring" businesses
Familiarity with the CMMS/maintenance space — or the curiosity to become dangerous in it fast
Background in journalism, creative writing, content marketing, or long-form storytelling
Ability to write with wit that's sharp, not forced — the kind that makes an industrial topic more readable without undercutting the credibility
