We're hiring a Social & Community Lead to shape Nirva's voice on social and build our community from the ground up.
Nirva is building the first AI fashion accessory for your mind — a necklace or bracelet that privately listens only to the wearer to enable proactive journaling, emotion tracking, and life coaching. Think Oura Ring for your Mind.
Backed by Lightspeed and South Park Commons, recognized at CES within 90 days of founding, and launching in the U.S. this fall. Co-founders bring backgrounds from Meta Reality Labs (Quest, Ray-Ban glasses) and fashion industry.
Nirva is a piece of jewelry people wear every day to better understand their own lives. It's a deeply personal product, and we want the way we show up on social to feel just as personal. We're looking for someone to shape our voice, care for our channels, and build real relationships with the people who love what we're creating.
You'll set the strategy for how Nirva shows up on social, and you'll be the one writing the posts, replying in the comments, and DMing our earliest fans. You'll own building a community from the ground up, in a category that doesn't exist yet. This role reports to the Head of Marketing.
Our voice and social strategy. Define how Nirva sounds, which platforms we're on and why, and what success looks like beyond follower counts.
The channels, day to day. Plan the calendar, write and make content, and work with freelancers, photographers, and creators.
Community from zero. Build Nirva's community on social from the ground up. Turn early customers into superfans and give them a reason to tell their friends.
The voice of the customer, inside the company. Bring what you hear in comments, DMs, and the community back to Product, Hardware, and Growth.
Creator partnerships. Work in close partnership with our influencer partner to make sure creator work feels true to the brand.
Product seeding and unboxing. Own how product gets into creators' hands: packing, shipping, and tracking sendouts with our influencer partner. Help shape the unboxing experience, and capture it for our own channels.
Protect the brand while you grow it. Trend-chasing, engagement bait, and anything that feels cheap or invasive are how this positioning dies. You'll know what not to post.
Measure what matters. Track community growth, engagement, sentiment, and how social drives purchase and retention.
Response and escalation. Set how we respond on social, including customer support issues and hard moments, together with our support and ops teams.
Creating a Nirva voice people know and trust.
Building a community of early customers who feel like insiders and bring their friends.
Bringing creator content to life in a way that makes the product look as good as it feels to wear.
Growing the brand in a way that deepens the connection people feel with Nirva.
4-6 years in social and/or community at a consumer brand, including at least one voice or community you built rather than inherited.
Hands-on mastery of Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with working knowledge of YouTube, X, and Reddit.
Experience running or working closely on a creator or influencer program.
A strong writer with taste: you know the difference between a post that performs and one that cheapens the brand.
Comfort with numbers: you can explain why a post worked, not just report that it did.
Fluent with AI tools to move faster, while keeping the voice and judgment human.
Low ego, high urgency, founder level ownership.
You've launched a physical consumer product on social.
Background in fashion, beauty, jewelry, or premium wellness.
You're comfortable on camera.
You already journal, reflect, or otherwise pay close attention to your own life.
Type: Full-time.
Hybrid: in person in our SF office 3 days a week.
Base salary: 150K-180K, based on experience, plus meaningful early stage equity.
Medical, dental, and vision. Flexible time off.
