Peakst8 is building a portfolio of participative sports experiences, inspired by global formats like HYROX, IRONMAN, and UTMB, alongside original IP such as No Parking, Founders Peak, and the Peakst8 Festival — with many more to come. Backed by Rainmatter/Zerodha, Peakst8 is building a new category of sports and fitness experiences in India.
We’re looking for the person who owns every rupee that moves through the business.
You’ll own accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial discipline across multiple entities and event-led business lines.
You’ll work closely with management to build finance systems that help the business grow with clarity and control from day one.
Own accounting, month-end close, and reporting across multiple entities.
Build and maintain event-wise P&Ls so every event is measured clearly on whether it made money, and why.
Handle tax and compliance across GST, TDS, income tax, and payroll statutory work including EPF, gratuity, and ESI.
Manage cross-border payments to global partners, including withholding tax, DTAA, 15CA/15CB, and FEMA/RBI reporting.
Set up MIS, approval workflows, vendor payment processes, and strong financial controls.
Work with auditors, tax advisors, and company secretaries, while bringing a commercial lens to spending and financial decisions.
Chartered Accountant with 4–8 years of experience.
Experience in audit, a Big 4 environment, and/or a fast-moving startup finance role.
Comfortable working across multi-entity structures, joint ventures, and international contracts.
Hands-on operator who will do the work directly, not just review it.
Builder mindset — you’ve set up finance processes or systems from scratch, not only run what already existed.
Most finance roles maintain a business. This one helps build it.
You’ll be part of the core team, working directly with management and shaping how a new category of sports and fitness business in India gets built with discipline from day one.
