At OWLED Media, we don’t just edit videos; we engineer virality.
We’re looking for social-first video editors who understand why people stop scrolling. You’ll be cutting, crafting, and experimenting with formats that pull millions of views for creative IPs built from scratch.
If you:
Live inside Reels and Shorts
Obsess over pacing, retention curves, and scroll-stopping visuals
Can break down a viral format after watching it once
And want freedom to create without endless feedback loops;
This one’s for you.
Edit high-performing short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, and more.
Work across multiple styles; A-roll reels, faceless edits, founder-led content, and more.
Experiment with trending formats, transitions, and storytelling hooks.
Study viral edits and reverse-engineer what makes them tick.
Collaborate with strategists, designers, and writers to bring ideas to life.
Work with AI tools for video & image generation to make workflows faster and sharper.
You think like a creator, not just an editor.
You understand rhythm, pacing, and what grabs attention in the first 3 seconds.
You can adapt quickly to new editing styles and trends.
You’re curious about AI, automation, and new creative tech.
You care about quality, but you move with speed.
Strong command over tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Understanding of social media trends, hooks, and retention editing.
Proven ability to edit for performance; not just aesthetics.
Strong sense of storytelling through visuals, rhythm, and sound.
Bonus Points If:
You’ve edited content that’s crossed 1M+ views.
You’re familiar with motion graphics or typography animation.
You’ve worked with AI-based video or design tools.
Work on videos that reach millions of people every month.
Learn how to edit not just beautifully, but strategically.
Experiment with new tools, formats, and ideas (no client restrictions).
A chance to grow into a lead editor or creative director role fast.
Direct access to systems, mentorship, and resources that help you scale.
You’re not just cutting clips.
You’re crafting attention.
